Our consultation service is intended for sailors who are planning an extended cruise. From passage making to live aboard, our extensive knowledge and experience is available to answer your questions.

It has been our experience that finding unbiased help in preparation for a cruise is difficult. Everyone you talk with and each magazine you read is full of must-have products and things you need to know. We have met people who have never cast off simply because they felt they needed one more thing, or were afraid they were unprepared.

Our goal is to help you decide what is necessary. From help in purchasing the right boat, outfitting a boat and cruising destinations to provisioning and safety issues, we can help. You may need us to come to your boat to assess its suitability or train you in areas you're unfamiliar with. Maybe you need information on what systems are necessary. If you plan to cruise with children, we can assist with home-school choices, safety and incorporating them into the crew. From battery banks to storage issues, from anchors to galley needs, we have first-hand experience.

Our fees are negotiable and are on a per-case basis. We do not receive commissions on products we recommend, we work for you.

Whether a few phone calls can resolve an issue or a trip to your boat is necessary, our goal is to leave you confident in your decisions and prepared to reach your cruising goals.
